JAMES WILLIAM DAY D.V.M.

Dr. Day was born and raised right here in the Phoenix area. He attended Colorado
State University where he graduated in 1984 with his B.S. and D.V.M. degrees. After
a year of employment with another local veterinarian, he purchased and still operates
the Glendale Animal Hospital.
Doctor Day has also operated three other local
pet practices but these were sold so that he could concentrate all efforts
on this practice alone. He has advanced training in dentistry,
feline medicine, cytologic interpretation, clinical pathology (blood testing), orthopedic and joint surgery
(surgery of the knee), radiosurgery (a form of microwave/laser surgery) and chiropractic manipulation for animals. Dr. Day is
certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, and a member of the
American Veterinary Medical Association, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association,
the American Veterinary Dentistry Association and the American Association of Feline
Practitioners.
The doctor is married and has three beautiful daughters,
three sons-in-law, and two grandsons. In
his free time, he enjoys his own family and pets, scuba diving, computer programming, writing, sailing, jet
skiing and gardening. Mostly, he enjoys the practice of veterinary medicine
above all.
On a Personal Note...
It was my lifelong dream to
become a veterinarian which I accomplished in 1984. I am happiest seeing
clients and treating their beloved pets. I know you can't come to know me or my practice just by browsing through our
web site. Mutual trust and understanding only comes over time. I do hope that you
may discover all that we can offer you inside our practice walls. I enjoy
most the relationship I have built with people and their pets over many years of
service, and I know Dr. Brady feels the same.
We have tried
ever so hard to make our style and standard of practice top quality without sacrificing
good old-fashioned care and concern. While we operate a general practice that can meet
most of your pet's basic needs, we also offer some specialized services such as
orthopedic and abdominal surgery, oncology (cancer treatment) and exotic pet
care. We can't be all things to all people, but if
you want a good relationship with a veterinarian for your pet, we'll try hard to
meet your needs. We aren't perfect, but we strive for excellent care for our clients
and patients.
